4 months old

Cady Lu is 4 months old today. She has been enjoying all her new activities and almost rolling over. Her favorite thing to do is still the same, "watching her brother", she laughs and smiles at him more than any one else.

Theo's Snack

My independent 4 year old made him self a snack today. He was in the kitchen alone, rummaging around and this is what he came out with. Grapes with butter & honey on them. He didn't actually eat them but was so matter of fact about making his own snack. He can get you the recipe if you want?

Love Hate

Jacob and Champ have a true love hate relationship.

Jacob once fell off the couch at night, while asleep and yelled. Jacob said, "No one cared but Champ, he was the only one that came to check on me". (Love)

On Saturday Theo accidently let Champ out the front door and Champ took off running through the neighborhood. Jacob gets very angry when this happens and hates to be a part of the team to get Champ back home. It was mine and Theo's job to bring Champ back home, Jacob did not need to be involved but out of anger Jacob said "Well maybe he'll get hit by a car so we never have to deal with this again". (Hate)

Later that day, Jacob accidently let Champ out of the garage door and Champ was running the neighborhood, again. This time Jacob had to go get him. As they were coming back I had to snap this picture. It was hilarious to see Jacob walking with Champ after he just cursed his name earlier that day. They looked so good walking together, it doesn't happen that often. Ceasar Millan says that, thats how we bond with our dogs and show them who is in command. (Love)

What the "Flip" #3

Champ has a lot of pent up energy/anxiety these day. When you make the slightest motion of play towards him, he trips out and goes into a spin. Theo and I like to see who can make him do "the spin move".

Big Bow

I'm not a huge fan of the big bow fashion for baby girls. But Auntie Em got Cadence this big bow, so she had to wear it. I guess I'll admit that she does look pretty dang cute!
